We currently offer cognitive assessments for children aged 6 to 17 and adults 18+.

Why should you get a cognitive assessment?

  • Cognitive assessments help to explore an individual’s strengths and vulnerabilities, which can help inform a tailored intervention.
  • A cognitive assessment can assist in the examination of intellectual giftedness or intellectual difficulties, developmental and behavioural issues, and can also assist in the identification of possible learning difficulties.

What does a cognitive assessment involve?

  • An initial 50-minute session to collect relevant background information.
  • A two-hour assessment session, which will involve the completion of a number of activities to assess intellectual ability.
  • A 50-minute feedback session to explain the results, recommendations, and explore any feelings that may arise from the assessment. It also provides an opportunity for you to ask any questions and discuss next steps.
  • A detailed assessment report will be provided within six weeks of the assessment session.

Cost: $1650 including GST

  • A cognitive assessment for an adult or child in total costs $1,650 including GST. This total fee is paid over two payments: $825 payable on booking which includes the initial and assessment session and $825 payable at the assessment appointment (GST will be calculated when the invoice is raised). Please note: These prices are for an average test and clinicians are to determine if there will be variations to the price quoted at the first initial information-gathering appointment. Full payment is required before the assessment report is released.
