Our Team

Renae is a registered psychologist with extensive experience across both organisational and private practice settings. She works closely with her clients to identify their counselling goals whilst exploring opportunities for personal growth and skill development. She combines a range of evidenced-based therapeutic frameworks including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT); Schema Therapy; Ego State Therapy; Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT). Renae has completed EMDR Level 2 training and is well versed with EMDR in her clinical practice. Renae has experience in ADHD assessment, diagnosis and therapeutic support.

Renae works collaboratively with clients across a broad range of presenting issues including – complex PTSD, trauma, attachment, anxiety, depression, panic, phobias, chronic stress, addiction, ADHD, grief & loss, relationships and parenting issues, workplace & career issues, and couple’s therapy. Renae takes a client-centred approach and works with the individual towards developing personal insight by better understanding the relationship between core beliefs, cognitions, emotions and behaviours.

Renae is committed to providing a comfortable, relaxed counselling environment for her clients, which enables them to explore their thoughts, feelings and behaviours in a safe space. She provides a supportive environment for the client to explore and understand past, complex traumas that may inform present day struggles. Renae works closely with her clients to develop a sense of agency and empowerment, which enables the individual to influence their own thoughts and behaviours and navigate life stressors in a healthy and adaptive way.
